SAFETY & precautions

Saunas offer numerous health benefits, but it's essential to prioritize safety & take necessary precautions to ensure a positive experience.

By following simple safety measures, individuals can fully enjoy the therapeutic effects of saunas while minimizing any potential hazards.

health restrictions

For your safety, consult a doctor before using the sauna if you have any health conditions. Pregnant women and young children should avoid saunas or seek medical advice beforehand.

keep safe distance from stove

When navigating around the sauna, remember to maintain a safe distance from the 'kiuas' the stone heating stove. Do not touch or lean at any time.* The area surrounding the stove & the tile beneath the stove retains & increases in heat. *"Sauna occupancy is limited to 7 people at a time, do not exceed.

avoid overheating

Begin your sauna sessions with shorter duration, typically around (10 -15 min ) & gradually increase the time spent inside as your body acclimates to the heat. If you feel dizzy or unwell, leave the sauna immediately.

hydrate + cool down

Remember to drink water before, during, & after your sauna sessions to prevent dehydration & maintain optimal hydration levels. After the sauna, cool down by showering, taking a cold plunge, or taking a moment to relax outside.

towels + sauna hat + footware

Use towels to sit on for skin protection, sweat absorption, & hygiene maintenance. Wearing a sauna hat helps regulate body temperature & protects your hair from excessive heat. Wear appropriate indoor footwear in the sauna for comfort, protection against slippery or hot floors, & hygiene. Outdoor shoes are strictly prohibited inside the sauna. *
